About Us
The Centre opened its doors in 2012. We provide Long Day Care for children from birth - 5 years as well as offering care for school-aged children through our school holiday program.
Holy Name ELCC employs 15 educators both permanent and casual
In 2014, Holy Name ELCC began running playgroup sessions at the centre to enable the families within the local community with a place to socialize with their children. We continue to strive for excellence through our practices and to provide ongoing support to the families and children within our community.
At Holy Name we follow the Reggio Emilia Approach
The Environment as a "Third Teacher"
The physical space is carefully designed to encourage engagement, exploration, and learning.
Inquiry-Based Learning
Teachers facilitate learning by asking questions, encouraging exploration, and providing opportunities for children to investigate their own ideas.
Child-Centered
Children are seen as active participants in their own learning, with their interests and curiosities guiding the curriculum.
